Join us at ArtStudio 23 for a relaxed 3-hour guided workshop where you’ll create your own large-scale abstract artwork to take home and hang proudly.
You’ll learn simple techniques for colour, composition and texture while working on a premium large canvas, with plenty of guidance throughout. No previous painting experience is needed. This workshop is designed to be enjoyable, creative and confidence-building.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a finished statement piece that reflects your own style.

During the workshop you will:
• Plan your colour palette and composition
• Build background layers using large brush techniques
• Explore texture using palette knives and expressive brushwork
• Add metallic accents and gold leaf details
• Refine and complete your painting with guidance throughout
We finish with a relaxed group viewing and photos of everyone’s work.

• Brushes and palette knives

• Apron and all materials

Light refreshments provided.

Pricing is based on canvas size:
50 × 60 cm canvas — £75 per person
60 × 80 cm canvas — £90 per person
100 × 150 cm canvas — £125 per person
All materials are included.
Workshops are kept small and relaxed to allow plenty of individual guidance.
Private group bookings are also available for approximately 10 guests, making this a lovely experience for birthdays, celebrations or creative evenings with friends.
It is advisable to leave your canvas with us after the workshop if it’s still wet, transporting your artwork when wet may cause damage. Please note we can only hold your canvas for a max of 2 weeks after the workshop date.
