OCTOBER AFTER-SCHOOL ART CLUB: HALLOWEEN MAKERS 🎃

Join us this October for four weeks of spooky, creative fun!
Throughout the month, children will experiment with clay, painting, papier-mâché and mixed-media art while creating their own collection of Halloween decorations and artwork to take home.
Each class is relaxed, creative and fully guided, making it suitable for children who love art as well as complete beginners.
WHAT WE’LL CREATE:
🎃WEEK 1 – WEDNESDAY 7 OCTOBER
CLAY PUMPKIN POTS
Children will use air-dry clay to sculpt their own pumpkin-shaped trinket pot. They’ll create the pot and lid before adding a stalk, pumpkin texture and their choice of a friendly, funny or spooky face.
The finished pots will remain at the studio to dry before being painted the following week.
🎃WEEK 2 – WEDNESDAY 14 OCTOBER
PAINTED PUMPKIN POTS & HALLOWEEN LANTERNS
Children will paint and decorate the clay pumpkin pots they created during Week 1.
They’ll also transform a jar into a glowing Halloween lantern, choosing from designs such as a pumpkin, ghost, mummy or colourful monster. Each lantern will be finished with a battery-operated LED tealight.
Please note: Weeks 1 and 2 form one complete clay project and should be booked together.
🎃WEEK 3 – WEDNESDAY 21 OCTOBER
PAPIER-MÂCHÉ HALLOWEEN MASKS
Children will design and decorate their own papier-mâché Halloween mask using paint and a selection of embellishments.
They can create a pumpkin, witch, cat, monster or colourful masquerade-style design or invent a completely original Halloween character.
🎃WEEK 4 – WEDNESDAY 28 OCTOBER
SMOKY WITCH’S CAULDRON ART
For our final week, children will create a magical mixed-media Halloween artwork.
They’ll paint a colourful spooky sky and bubbling witch’s cauldron before adding silhouettes, bats, stars and soft cotton-wool smoke rising from the pot.

Full four-week October block: £48 per child
Clay Pumpkin Project: Weeks 1 and 2: £30 per child
Individual Week 3 or Week 4 class: £15 per child
All art materials, clay, decorations and battery-operated LED tealights are included.
🎃IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Classes run from 4:30pm until 6:00pm.
• Suitable for children aged 4–9.
• Spaces are limited and advance booking is required.
• Please dress children in clothing suitable for painting and messy creative activities.
• Weeks 1 and 2 must be attended together to complete the clay pumpkin project.
• Finished artwork will be taken home after each class, except the clay pots, which will remain at the studio to dry between Weeks 1 and 2.
