Join Art Studio 23 for Postcards from Belfast, a free creative workshop taking place as part of Culture Night Belfast.
Choose from a selection of hand-illustrated postcards featuring some of Belfast’s most iconic sights, including The Big Fish, Belfast City Hall, Botanic Gardens, the Grand Opera House and the Samson & Goliath cranes.
Using watercolours, acrylics, pencil and markers you’ll bring your chosen Belfast postcard to life before adding your own message to the reverse:
“I love Belfast because…” ❤️
No art experience is needed – this is a relaxed, fun workshop suitable for complete beginners. We’ll provide everything you need.

To help us manage numbers, we’re running two one-hour sessions:
7pm–8pm
8pm–9pm
Spaces are limited, so we recommend booking your free place in advance. Walk-ins are also very welcome, subject to space on the night.
THE VENUE
We’ll be taking over The Garrick Bar 29 Chichester street Belfast for one night only.
Drinks can be purchased directly from the bar throughout the evening – and while you’re there, we highly recommend trying their Belfast Coffee!
